'Love Your Excluded Workers:' Rally for Worker Protections

For Valentines Day, a coalition of immigrant labor activists gathered in Union Square, New York City on February 14, 2022 to call on Governor Kathy Hochul to expand the social safety net to include New York’s immigrant workforce in times of crisis. This comes on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic where many delivery workers, street vendors, and restaurant workers were left without protection or access to an adequate social safety net.
