More than 2.5 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland

Polish scout organisation gives food to Ukrainian refugee families at the Main Railway Station in Krakow, Poland as many Polish organisations voluntarily provide help for war stricken refugees as more than 2.5 million people have already fled Ukraine for Poland - April 8, 2022. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia already forced 4 million Ukrainians to flee the country. Most of the refugees seek asylum in Poland. Most charitable help in Poland is provided by individuals, NGOs and businesses. The railway stations are the hubs of humanitarian help in many Polish cities.
