Bangkok Governor's Elections

Thai electoral official counts ballot papers after voting closed in the election, Bangkok governor election at a polling station in Bangkok, Thailand, 22 May 2022. Residents of the Thai capital Bangkok voted to elect a new governor. Some 4.4 million people voters are eligible to cast their votes in the Bangkok governor's election, it will be the first such elections in nine years since 2013 after the military seized power in a 2014 coup.
