Aazhimala Shiva Temple in Vizhinjam

58-ft-tall statue of Lord Shiva at the Aazhimala Shiva Temple (Azhimala Siva temple) in Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala, India on May 26, 2022. The statue of Lord Shiva in the Gangadhareswara form was sculpted by 29-year-old P. S. Devadathan over a six year period, and is, mounted on a rock at an altitude of 20 ft from the sea, invoking a magnificent grandeur and a sense of sacredness.
