Newly found ancient stone sculptures on display in Thailand.

Thai authorities found more than 130 centuries old ancient stone sculptures during a road construction outside the Grand Palace compound and put them on display at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The carved stone statues are believed were used as ballast for the stabilization of Chinese sailing vessels and left in the Thai kingdom in ancient maritime trading times.
