Protest in Kolkata against release of convicts of Bilkis Bano rape case of 2002.

Various social activist organization took out a protest rally in Kolkata , India , on 24 August 2022 ,against release of 11 convicts of Bilkis Bano rape case of 2002 , demanding their arrest again. Bilkis Bano was gang raped and her 14 family were murdered during anti Muslim riots of Gujrat . The convicts were serving life sentence when they were released by Gujrat government under the celebration of 75 years of Indian Independence.
