Thermal Power Plant demolished in Spain

The chimney of the coal-powered thermal power plant of Teruel, situated on the town of Andorra, was demolished this Thursday after having closed on 2020. This was one of the several thermal power plants closed and dismantled in Spain since 2018 in the search for cleaner energy sources to produce electricity. Wind turbines and solar energy parks have been created in the area to replace the old polluting infrastructures for clean renewable energy ones on February 16, 2023, in Andorra, Spain.
