U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink takes part at opening of a sculpture in Borodyanka on the anniversary of the de-occupation of Kyiv region

U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink takes part at opening of the sculpture called 'A girl under the sun' installed for the first anniversary of the retreat of Russian forces from Kyiv region, in Borodyanka, Ukraine 2 April 2023. The sculpture was created by the Ukrainian sculptor Yevhen Prymachenko and depict a child's silhouette flying up to the sky under the sun's rays against the background of high-rise buildings destroyed by a Russian aerial bomb. Borodyanka is one of the most affected town in Kyiv region during the war.
