Guangxi Museum Reopen

The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum reopened to the public in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China, on Dec 1, 2022, after a four-year renovation and expansion. During the renovation and expansion period, Guangxi Museum successfully passed the national 4A level scenic spot evaluation, and held its unveiling ceremony on November 28. After the reconstruction, the new 4-story building of Guangxi Museum will be seamlessly connected with the old one. The construction area of the new exhibition building will be increased to 33,262.11 square meters, nearly double the new building area, and the exhibition hall area will be expanded from more than 4,000 square meters to 10,000 square meters. In terms of the space layout open to tourists, Guangxi Museum will be divided into display areas, interactive service areas, indoor and outdoor leisure and culture areas, etc. Each functional area is covered with digital information and management system such as AR real map navigation, and access to the "one-click tour Guangxi" platform, providing tourists with full coverage of their needs and one-stop online and offline intelligent services.
