Workers Water Flowers in A Smart Electrified Greenhouse In Taizhou, China

Workers water flowers in a technology greenhouse of intelligent electrified greenhouse at the flower production base of modern horticultural technology Industry Demonstration park in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, Jan 5, 2023, to prepare for the upcoming Spring Festival sales peak. Covering an area of 210,000 square meters, the base adopts a 5G all-scene distributed intelligent agricultural system and has built 23 electrified greenhouses, which can reduce carbon emissions by 14,400 tons a year and save energy costs by 3.15 million yuan. The base produces 28 million high-quality seedlings and 3.5 million POTS of high-quality flowers every year, with a sales volume of about 60 million yuan and an increase in employment of nearly 140 local farmers.
