On Thursday, Evergrande Group, initiated the process of seeking Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection within a U.S. court. In a submission to the Manhattan bankruptcy court, the firmsaid it was seeking recognition of restructuring talks under way in Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
