Poland Teacher's Protest

Several hundred teachers protest in front of the ministry of education in Warsaw, Poland on 01 September, 2023. Teachers are being paid just a fraction more than minimum wage in Poland and feel constrained by an increasingly centralised education system led by the Minister of Education Przemyslaw Czarnek. A lack of teachers has also significantly increased job pressure along with the salaries that are lacking behind high inflation. SHOTLIST: 1.
