More than 1,500 people are marching under incessant rain in San Piero a Grado to say "no" to the idea of building a military base to consolidate the Gis and the first Carabinieri paratrooper Tuscania regiment in the Cisam area, within the boundaries of the San Rossore Natural Park. The "No Base Movement" is promoting the demonstration, which brings together a wide range of groups and associations from the radical and environmentalist left, with members from all over Italy.
