Anti-government protest in Warsaw, Poland

A crowd of people, led by far-right media outlets Gazeta Polska and TV Republica, along with leaders from the Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - PIS) political party, are currently holding Polish national flags and anti-government banners in Warsaw, Poland, on February 10, 2024. They are chanting 'This is Poland, not Brussels' as they stage a protest in front of the Constitutional Court's building on Szucha Street in central Warsaw, in support of the current Constitutional Court Judges. The Law and Justice party, which ruled Poland for eight years until their loss in the October 2023 election, is now a right-wing opposition force against a more centrist and liberal ruling coalition. The main political force in this coalition is the Civic Coalition, led by Donald Tusk, former President of the Council of EU and current Prime Minister of Poland. The current Constitutional Court judges were sworn in by the PiS party, and both sides are accusing each other of unconstitutional acts surrounding the Constitutional Court.
