Anti-government protest in Warsaw, Poland

A crowd of people, led by far-right media outlets Gazeta Polska and TV Republica, along with leaders of the Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - PIS) political party, are holding Polish national flags and anti-government banners. They are staging a protest in support of the current Constitutional Court Judges in front of the Court's building on Szucha Street in central Warsaw, Poland, on February 10, 2024. The Law and Justice party, which ruled in Poland for eight years until their loss in the October 2023 election, is now serving as a right-wing opposition force against a more centrist and liberal ruling coalition. The main political force in this coalition is the Civic Coalition, led by Donald Tusk, former President of the Council of EU and current Prime Minister of Poland. The current Constitutional Court judges were sworn in by the PiS party. Both sides are accusing each other of unconstitutional acts surrounding the Constitutional Court.
