Farmers from the Greater Poland region are entering Poznań, the capital of the region in western Poland, on February 9, 2024. They are participating in a nationwide farmers' strike. This protest in Poland is part of the European farmers' protest against the EU Green Deal regulations. Polish farmers are also demanding a change to the EU agreement with Ukraine regarding the import of agricultural produce to the EU. The protest in Poznań is being organized by Rola Wielkopolska and has gathered over a thousand tractors, which are currently blocking roads in the city.
