Oxford coronavirus vaccine induces a strong immune response

The new potential coronavirus vaccine of Oxford University and Astra Zeneca has been shown to produce a strong immune response, according to early-stage clinical trials. Results were published on July 20, 2020 in the British medical journal The Lancet. About 1.000 people were involved in the Phase 2 Oxford trials, with about half of the subjects receiving the experimental vaccine.
