The forecourt of Notre-Dame in Paris closed

A year after its reopening, the forecourt of Notre-Dame is again closed to the public because of high lead concentrations, in Paris, France, on June 10, 2021. The decision was taken after a health opinion issued by the Ile-de-France regional health agency ARS in May. Samples taken on the forecourt have indeed revealed a significant increase in the concentration of lead dust on the forecourt of the cathedral.
