A restoration that returns to the Basilica del Santo and consequently to the city of Padua and to the many visitors and believers who pass through it every year. At the Theological Study Room of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, Fabio Dal Cin, Pontifical Delegate for the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, presented to the authorities and to the press the characteristics of this restoration which return the frescoes painted by Giotto on the intrados of the arch of the Chapel of Santa Caterina. They are in fact the dress rehearsals for what will later become his most important work, the Scrovegni Chapel. The works were carried out under the High Surveillance of the Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan area of Venice and the provinces of Belluno, Padua and Treviso.
