US Military Base in Poland

For nearly two weeks United States forces have been arriving in Poland and setting up bases in different locations. US troops and armoured vehicles can be seen in the base set up of the local airport in Mielec, Poland on 20 February, 2022. Thousands of US troops and equipment have been transported to Poland after a significant build-up of Russian forces along the border with Ukraine with threats of an imminent attack.
