EU closes airspace to Russia

Statements by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who on Sunday announced new sanctions against Russia, such as a ban on Russian aircraft entering EU territory. "We are proposing a prohibition on all Russian-owned, Russian-registered and Russian-controlled aircraft.
