Concerned tenants rallied at 150 Cherry Street in New York City on March 23, 2022 after gathering over 800 signatures calling on the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) to stop the sale of Knickerbocker Village to L&M Development Partners. The sale would displace low-income tenants, taking away the last stronghold of low-income housing in Chinatown and the Lower East Side.
