The Ciliwung River after going through serious handling from various parties including the ciliwung-loving community (Mat Peci) by educating the public about the importance of cleaning the Ciliwung river, has now experienced a significant improvement in its water quality although there is still a lot of garbage dumped into the river that divides Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia.
