Former King Juan Carlos I lands in Vigo after almost two years away from Spain

King Juan Carlos I has landed this Thursday in Vigo after almost two years away from Spanish territory, after he left the country on August 3, 2020 aboard a private jet to settle in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). More than 650 days later, the king emeritus has returned to national soil about 19.00 this afternoon, arriving at the Vigo airport of Peinador on a private flight direct from Abu Dhabi.
