Wild elephant found dead in India

A wild elephant was found dead according to forest officials, having succumbed to injuries after a fight with another elephant near a tea estate in Assam's Nagaon district on December 12th, 2022. According to reports, a staff member of the Kondoli tea estate in Nagaon district spotted the elephant and immediately informed local forest officials and police. A team of the forest department immediately reached the spot and found the dead elephant near the tea estate.
