Twitter suspends accounts of half a dozen journalists

Twitter Inc. suspended the accounts of a number of journalists from CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post, reportedly in response to the journalists tweeting about the ban of the @ElonJet account which had posted the private plane location of Twitter CEO Elon Musk. Musk suggested that the journalists had engaged in "doxxing", or maliciously releasing personal information, which violated Twitter terms of service. He also pointed out that if the same had been done to New York Times reporters, the FBI would be investigating and there would be hearings on Capitol Hill. Musk stated that accounts involved in doxxing receive a temporary 7-day suspension.
