Dame Vivienne Westwood was an internationally renowned fashion designer and eco-activist who made her name by bringing punk and new wave designs to the mainstream. Partnering with punk band Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, they opened the boutique "SEX" in the King's Road in the early 1980s, introducing provocative and controversial designs.
