Fireworks over De Blob. Fireworks explode and light up the urban night sky of the city center of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. It is one of the warmest New Years' Eve evenings with temperatures hitting record highs. Firework show and the famous bonfires have been cancelled or changed the date of the events because of the extreme weather with high wind speeds, despite the high temperatures. Another issue is the fireworks banning in the Netherlands, while some municipalities already do ban them, the police is confiscating tons of exploding materials.
