Ukrainians queue at the railway station in Przemysl, Poland to depart for Ukraine on December 20, 2022. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than 7 million Ukrainian refugees have crossed the Polish border to flee the conflict. Since then, many Ukrainians have returned to their homeland or moved on to various destinations. Today, more Ukrainians are travelling back to Ukraine than escaping it.
