Place Vendome in Paris

The central and renowned Place Vendome in Paris is one of the five royal squares of the French capital, along with the Place des Victoires, the Place de la Concorde, the Place des Vosges and the Place Dauphine. Designed in 1699, the central column was built in 1810, destroyed during the Paris Commune, and later rebuilt. It is home to some of the most prestigious luxury brands as well as the building where the musician Frederic Chopin resided. Paris, 9 August, 2022.
