On 14 February 2023, Pakistani traders sorted out donations to be sent to the areas affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, in Peshawar, Pakistan. Two major earthquakes hit southern Turkey and northern Syria on 6 February, resulting in the death of more than 37,000 people and leaving thousands more injured. Rescue teams are continuing their search for survivors across the region, and authorities are concerned that the death toll will rise further.
