Ukrainians, including residents of Mariupol, who fled during the war from their hometown which is currently under occupation by Russian troops, take part a memorial commemorative rally for people killed a year ago inside a building of the Mariupol Drama Theatre by Russian air strike, outside the Opera Theatre in Kyiv, Ukraine on 16 March 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The participants created the"CHILDREN" word from candles in a memory of the dead. According to media, about 600 people became victims of the bombing, but the exact number of deaths is not known.
