U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink looks at destroyed residential buildings on the first anniversary of the retreat of Russian forces from Kyiv region, in Borodyanka, Ukraine 2 April 2023.. The sculpture was created by the Ukrainian sculptor Yevhen Prymachenko and depict a child's silhouette flying up to the sky under the sun's rays against the background of high-rise buildings destroyed by a Russian aerial bomb. Borodyanka is one of the most affected town in Kyiv region during the war.
