On the night of July 13 unknown persons shelled the building of the 112 Ukraine TV channel from a grenade launcher, as media reported. Police qualify the incident as a terrorist act, the press service of the National Police reported.As media reported, the 112 Ukraine TV channel is actually owned by Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the political council of the 'Opposition Platform – For Life' political party and the Kremlin`s closest ally in Ukraine. Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk is a controversial figure in Ukraine because of his close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
