On July 15, 2019, the Frente Independentista Boricua, a coalition of Puerto Rican pro-independence organizations including A Call to Action, NYBR, PIP of NY, El Maestro Inc, ProLibertad and others this rallied in Union Square demanding the resignation of the corrupt Puerto Rican governor, Ricardo Rossello, and an end to the colonial government that has profited off of the corrupt politicians in power for decades.
