BJP activists held posters and chanted slogans against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in front of Swabhumi Inox cinema hall. They were protesting the Chief Minister's statement about banning the controversial film "The Kerala Story" in the state, due to concerns that it may create unrest. Banerjee has also accused the BJP of funding a film about Bengal, similar to 'Kashmir Files'. This protest took place in Kolkata on May 11, 2023.
