Solar panels are seen on a building of a public medical clinic in Horenka (one of the most destroyed towns during the fight to defend Kyiv in March 2022). The solar panel system as well as heat pomp were installed in the clinic as the building was reconstructed after being destroyed in the fight. The idea is to keep vital public institutions independent both from Russian gas as well as potential destruction of regional power plants. Environmental NGO call for government to implement green recovery plan. The Horenka clinic project was managed by Ecoaction and sponsored by Greenpeace.
