China June CPI

Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in June 2023, the national consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0% year-on-year. On a month-on-month basis, CPI has declined for five consecutive months, with a month-on-month decline of 0.2% in June. The producer price index (PPI) fell 5.4% year-on-year and 0.8% month-on-month, and the year-on-year growth rate has been in negative territory for nine consecutive months.
