Eisa dancers perform during the Shinjuku Eisa Festival 2019 on July 27, 2019, Tokyo, Japan. This year 22 Eisa dance troupes performed on the streets near to Shinjuku Station beating portable taiko drums as they moved through the crowds. The Eisa is a Bon dance originated from Okinawa which memorial service for wishing for health, safety, and prosperity of each house, and pray for the repose of the spirits.
