Relatives and friends take part at a funeral service of a violinist and Ukrainian serviceman Davyd Yakushyn, 21, who was killed during fight against Russian troops in eastern Ukraine, at a church of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in Kyiv, Ukraine on 28 July 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian violinist Davyd Yakushyn, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, went to serve and fight in the ranks of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and died during the war on the East of the country. Last year, Davyd graduated from the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R.M. Gliera, by specialty "orchestral stringed instruments", according to local media.
