Rally called by the 17A platform in front of the Government Delegation, on 17 August, 2023 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The protest is taking place to demand accountability from the Spanish state for the attacks six years ago in Barcelona and Cambrils. The attacks began on August 17, 2017 on the Las Ramblas promenade in Barcelona where a mass shooting was committed with a van that covered 530 meters of the central area of the promenade. In that attack, 15 people were killed and 131 injured, five of them in critical condition, with one of them dying from her injuries. Hours later, the attack took place in Cambrils, where five terrorists were killed after attempting to jump a Mossos d'Esquadra police checkpoint and running over six people.
