Gezhouba Dam water conservancy project of the Yangtze River is shrouded in mist after a heavy rain in Yichang, Hubei province, China, May 4, 2023. The Gezhou Dam project is the largest hydropower project in China before the completion of the Three Gorges Project. It was completed in 1988 and is known as the "first dam on the 10,000 Li Yangtze River".
