Japan: Tokyo protesters call on PM Shinzo Abe to resign

Protesters gathered in front of Tokyo parliament to demonstrate against the policies of Shinzo Abe and to call on the Japanese prime minister to resign, on March 3, 2017. Protesters carried placards and voiced slogans to show their opposition to Japan's nuclear power policies, the US military base on Okinawa and the controversial Prime Minister's wife Akie Abe's allegation on Moritomo Gakuen construction in Osaka, among other issues. The protesters, young and old, chanted, holding placards with slogans such as "No war, Just Peace" and “Take back democracy." They then gathered for a rally where they heard protest-leaders giving speeches.
