A bear rests at the ARCTUROS International Environmental Center. ARCTUROS is a non profit, non governmental, environmental organization (NGO) focusing on the protection of wildlife fauna and natural habitat, in Greece and abroad. ARCTUROS hosts the bear protection center, which houses bears that cannot be returned to nature because they lived in captivity or in unsuitable zoos and bears that were found orphaned or seriously injured.
