Muslim devotees are raising their hands in prayer at the Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar, the summer capital, upon seeing the holy relic believed to be a hair from the beard of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. They are gathering at the shrine and offering special prayers to commemorate Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
