(FILE VIDEO) A partial lunar eclipse will be visible from much of Europe on October 28, 2023. The eclipse will begin at 8:01 PM UTC and will reach its maximum at 10:14 PM UTC. The moon will appear to be partially obscured by the Earth's shadow, with the maximum obscuration of 6%. The eclipse will be visible from all of Europe, as well as parts of Africa, Asia, and Australia. It will not be visible from North America or South America. This is a rare opportunity to see a lunar eclipse from Europe. The next partial lunar eclipse visible from Europe will be on March 13, 2025.
