The 'Ciarán' Storm Leaves Over 500 Incidents in Galicia

Portonovo, Spain - November 2, 2023. The storm 'Ciarán' is causing a trail of incidents across Galicia, with more than 500 managed by the 112 emergency center, due to the adverse weather conditions. It has brought winds of up to 168 km/h in the mountains of Lugo, intense rainfall with more than 70 liters per square meter in Fornelos de Montes (Pontevedra), and waves of nearly seven meters off A Coruña.
