Pro-Palestinian protests at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at a sit-in demonstration between the airport terminals followed by a march outside of the building. Hundreds of local people, Palestinians and bystanders demonstrated in Schiphol Plaza. Protesters with flags and banners demanded a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and the intervention of EU and US to put pressure on Israel to stop the bombing. They drew attention with their strong slogans and the mockups of dead babies in bandages. Some expressed more controversial slogan statements like "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" or "genocide" and "this is apartheid".
