"It is not our tradition to arrest a woman," remarks PHC Chief Justice (CJ) Mohammad Ibrahim Khan during the hearing, expressing his disappointment over the heavy police presence outside the court. The court is currently preventing the police stationed outside from arresting the former federal minister, following her urgent plea against potential arrest. Zartaj Gul is breaking down in tears, seeking an apology for the riots on May 9. The former minister is expressing fear of arrest by the police and is refusing to leave the court premises until her bail is approved.
