Ile-de-France Regional President Valerie Pecresse traveled to the A13 highway at Mantes-la-Jolie, just outside Paris, to meet with French farmers who have been protesting against French and European policies for the past week. This movement has brought numerous communication routes across France to a standstill, but the government of new Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has so far been unable to provide satisfactory responses. Valerie Pecresse spoke with representatives of the FNSEA and Jeunes Agriculteurs, the two most prominent agricultural trade associations in France.
